Reading the map

What the colours on the map mean and why you sometimes need to zoom in.

The app is in German for now, so button names are quoted in German with the English meaning in brackets.

Your streets on the map

The map shows which streets you have already explored and which are still new to you. On top of that comes territory:

  • Outlined in blue: streets in your territory.
  • Outlined in purple: streets in other players’ territory.

“Zoome näher heran, um deine Straßen zu sehen”

To keep the map fast, CLAYM only shows your streets from a certain zoom level. If you see this hint (zoom in to see your streets), zoom in a little with two fingers or the +.

Buttons at the side

  • + and −: zoom
  • i: explanation of how territory works
  • Crosshair: centre the map on your location
  • Compass: turn the map to north

Tools above the map

The bar above the bottom panel holds “Lücken” (gaps), “Entdecken” (explore), “Runde” (loop) and “Offline”. These tools are part of CLAYM Plus, see Gaps and Explore, Get a loop planned and Offline maps.
