Offline maps
Save the map and your game status for an area so you can see what’s new even without internet.
The app is in German for now, so button names are quoted in German with the English meaning in brackets.
Save an area
- Move the map to your area.
- Tap “Offline” on the map.
- Tap “Sichtbaren Ausschnitt speichern” (save visible area).
If the area is too big, it says “Zu groß – zoome etwas näher heran” (too big, zoom in a little). Zoom in a bit and try again.
On the way without internet
Without internet the map shows streets and paths and your game status from when you saved it. You record tours as usual. They are uploaded as soon as you have a connection again.
Manage offline maps
You’ll find your saved areas in your profile under “Offline-Karten”.
- “Aktualisieren” (update) only downloads what’s new and fetches your current game status.
- Delete removes the map and the saved game status from your phone.
Offline maps are part of CLAYM Plus.
